Do you cry out?
As I sat here a couple of mornings ago, I started to turn on my praise music and I just felt I was suppose to be quiet and listen. Listen to what? God!! How do you do that? One by being quiet lol two by listening with more than your ears. Listen to God with your inner most being; your spirit man.
The rooster was crowing, the trees rustling in the breeze, dogs were barking down the road, the horses were moving around, the early dark morning sounds of the crickets were chirping, cars were going down the road, cattle were bawling down the road in a pasture somewhere. You might say so that's just normal sounds they make. EXACTLY!
The sun began to rise as I was sitting all bundled up with my hot coffee and my blanket and I began to not only hear the sounds but I began to see the life I was hearing. As the light began to dawn I could hear birds begin to chirp and then fly over. The brighter it got the more I could see! I looked to my right and the neighbors goats had began to gather close to me watching me as they grazed on the grass. I could now see the trees swaying in the breeze that I could only hear before. I could see the beautiful amazing horses in the lot next to me. Light always brings more life to what is already there. Hmm another power thought!! Jesus the SON(sun) is the Light of the world.
Okay so onto where God took me with all of these thoughts. Here is the passage He reminded me of!
Luke 19:28-40 After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it.’” Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?” They replied, “The Lord needs it.” They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road. When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
God has given each of us a purpose and by us being us we sing out praises to Him. There are many of you searching to find your soul purpose in life. God reveals everyone's destiny a day at a time. Today your purpose might be to just smile at the cashier at the local food place. Tomorrow you might have a lady approach you at the gas pump and ask for $2 to get to the hospital to visit a family member. FYI this happened to me last night. I had just been given $20 for gas that I really needed because money is pretty tight at the moment. I had already paid the cashier for the gas and was pumping my gas, I had a $10 in my pocket I already reserved for supplies to clean some houses and so I had a choice to make. My first reaction was to judge the situation :-(. I don't recommend this as first reaction. The first should always be Father let me hear You! It's none of my business if they are con artist or really in need. I had said ma'am I am sorry I just gave my money to the man to buy my gas. Then God said REALLY?? I made a choice to obey God. She asked me for $2 to get to Fort Worth because she was concerned what they just put in wasn't enough. I went back over and said ma'am please back your car up behind me and I'm going to put what gas I need in my jeep and you can have the pump. I put $10 in and let them take the pump. I got in my Jeep and grabbed a #Mommajo AKA Carol Hogner cd out and gave to her and her son and told her to have a nice night. Yesterday I fulfilled my purpose. Today I will fulfill my purpose rather it's something like the day before a or just to be me!
Today won't you cry out! #UBU!!!
