I'm sure she was kicked, stepped on, and even ridiculed because she was breaking the law.
She had her heart set on touching Jesus, and nothing could stop her. When she got to Jesus, she touched him, and immediately healing power flowed through her body. She was healed!
What are we saying to ourselves? Are we telling ourselves "if only I can touch Jesus I will be made well"? Are we telling ourselves "if I press into Jesus my needs will be met"? Are we telling ourselves "I know that me and my family will serve the Lord"?
What are we telling ourselves, what are we telling each other, are we speaking words of life?
I cannot help but to believe that because this woman had convinced herself that if she could just touch the garment of Jesus that she would be made well, that this is why she was healed. Jesus said her faith made her whole! And how did she get her faith stirred up so strong? She spoke words of affirmation to herself, she spoke words of faith to herself, and I am sure when people asked her what she was doing she said to them "I know when I see my Jesus that I will be made well"!
Again what are we saying today?
My prayer today is that we will begin to speak life to ourselves and each other.
